ISLAMABAD (Ahem News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Friday claimed that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif won’t become part of ‘Azadi March’ of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman.
Addressing a press conference alongside Minister for Water Faisal Vawda, the railways minister said that all the movements or protest can be ended if Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will give National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to five people.
“Shehbaz Shairf may not join the JUI-F’s anti-government protest and the day of Azadi March (October 27) will pass happily,” he said.
Sheikh Rasheed also congratulated his colleague on his court victory against the opposition leader in National Assembly after the Karachi Election Tribunal rejected Shehbaz Sharif’s plea challenging Vawda’s success in NA-249 Karachi elections.
On the occasion, Faisal Vawda said that the federal government is repentantly waiting for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s march and the food will also be provided to the protestors.
JUI-F announces ‘Azadi March’ towards Islamabad on Oct 27
A day earlier, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman has announced to hold anti-government protest as ‘Azadi March’ towards Islamabad on October 27.
Addressing a press conference on Thursday, the JUI-F chief said that the JUI-F will stage sit-in at D-Chowk in Islamabad on October 27, adding that the present government was formed as a result of rigging.
The JUI-F chief said that all opposition parties had agreed on the above and had called for fresh elections. “We will gather at D-Chowk,” he said, adding, “We are not ones to disperse easily.”
“The country is under economic crisis due to the government’s incompetency,” Maulana Fazlur Rehman said. He maintained that the party will begin its ‘Azadi march’ on October 27 towards Islamabad. “All caravans will reach Islamabad across the country. We will express solidarity with the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IoK).”
